Types of Ad Marketing

Hey guys, back with another blog post. Today i’ll be talking about ads. Ads in this generation can vary widely, and many big platforms hold partners to produce their ad and promote it. Ads that I see personally are “TikTok” a largely known app that lets you record and make videos. “Raid Shadow Legends” an MMO RPG game for all ages, and so on. I think these ads are targeted to me because I do watch a lot of gameplays and viral videos. I also think apps view what you see to play certain ads that effect you. Overall, ads are just 30s-1m videos that promote a project. This has been a great talk, see you next time!

Searching up my name/usernames!

Hey guys welcome back to another blog post! I’ve been really having fun doing this lately. Today, i’ve searched up my name and found it suprising that there was an actor that had my name! He was an actor on The Office, Law and Order : UK, and Call the Midwife. The images were of the actor and he does look like a gentleman of class. I was certainly suprised, I would l’ve expected someone that was in the Philippines since that is where I am from. On social media however, it comes up to a guy that lives in Sydney, and is a married man. This certainly has been interesting and i’ll leave off here on a good note, see you in the next post!

BFAS Scale Reflection

Hey guys! I’m back with another blog, today i’ll be talking about the BFAS Scale. Today I took the Bergen Facebook Addiction Scale quiz which is a quiz for anyone to see if you are addicted to the internet. I think the scale is accurate, I answered often to very often in many of the questions and I do think I am addicted. This lifestyle only gives me 7.5 hours of sleep and it really is taking a toll on my social life. I do need to change my habits, I feel more pressured to take a peek on my phone to check social media every minute or two. Although the test may be accurate I do believe that the test should be more proper rather than just a handful of questions, it really helped me though in assessing what I actually do and how often I do it without realizing! Thank You guys for coming today it helps me a lot to have your support and trust, see you next time guys!

Social Media’s Dangers

Hello viewers! Social Media can be dangerous if you do NOT use it carefully. I have researched and found that “Comparing” each other in social media is a thing. Most teenagers tend to ‘flex’ or just post about their daily life. I feel completely safe about this considering that most accounts are considered private and you have the option to accept/decline their follow request if you are the owner. This danger can be avoided by not posting your money, or what you earn from a job, rather you should post about what you enjoy doing and where you like to go. Teenagers can avoid this danger by posting about what they enjoy in their free time or where they like to adventure. My thoughts about ‘comparing’ are strictly one-sided being that you should never compare because there will end up being someone to “1-up” you. This will conclude this blog post for today, see you guys next time!

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
